Systematising the Assessor Role
There are dozens, if not hundreds, of processes at play to keep a business running smoothly. These will come together to create wider systems. As the Assessor, you’ll be taking the lead on some of the most pivotal ones, and will play a supporting role in others.
The Member Journey
The member journey is the most important system for the Assessor (and for the business).
This can be split into five key phases which take the client from being new to the business, to remaining a member for years – and referring everyone they know.
Other Key Business Systems
This wider system can be broken down into smaller processes. The most important of these for the Assessor role are:
- The sales process
- The 30-day trial process
- The client onboarding process
There are also a number of other systems at play in the business that are highly relevant to you. These include:
- Your own time management
- The research, planning, implementation and evaluation process – we call this the Cycle of Action
- The KPI reporting system
In the following modules, we’ll break each of these down, going through what steps need to be included in each, and how you can formulate a process for each that works for you and the business.
